Daniel Hasidim page

[edit]

Hello

Why did you deleted Daniel Hasidim page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Hasidim)?

Their is no problem with copyright issue with the page of the zionist billionaire forum [8].

Both pages were writen by the same man.

I added the page as a source.

What is the problem? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Daniel12121 (talkcontribs) 20:19, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The copying was the issue for the April and May deletions, but not for the latest one. In any case Hasidim should not be writing about himself here; see WP:AUTOBIO. —David Eppstein (talk) 20:40, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sasan Adibi

[edit]

Could someone have a look at Sasan Adibi and share their opinion? The wikipedia article defines him as an "expert in health informatics". He seems to have published a decent amount, but the sum total of his citations is 940 [1]. The field is trendy, so is this a lot? His two claims to notability appear to be receiving an award for a best PhD thesis from the IEEE Society (can't seem to locate info about that on ieee.org) and the fact that he's a senior member of the IEEE (this sort of membership is described over there: this requires some achievement in the field, but is something that individuals apply for, it's not granted like an award). – Uanfala (talk) 01:18, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't yet looked at the article, but neither a best thesis award nor senior membership are enough to pass WP:PROF. WP:PROF specifically rules out student awards, and to pass through having a selective membership grade he would need to be fellow, not just senior member. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:53, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I came across this draft in the WP:AFC queue and am unsure of notability. If a member of this project could have a look and advise, that would be great. --K.e.coffman (talk) 02:09, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I would say he passes WP:PROF due to high citation counts and being a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Thsmi002 (talk) 02:34, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you; that was helpful. I accepted the draft. --K.e.coffman (talk) 00:01, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Response to David Eppstein

[edit]

Hi David, I did not make that edit, it was done automatically by Twinkle through the AfD I proposed. Best Delta fiver (talk) (UTC) 06:43, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
