Author:Theodosius of Skopje

[edit]

Having checked Wikipedia, as you suggested, I found there the following statement: "Theodosius of Skopje is considered a Bulgarian in Bulgaria and an ethnic Macedonian in North Macedonia.". It is great that you decided to contribute here, we always welcome new contributors, but I suggest to focus on adding some new works, which would be much more helpful. Thanks for understanding. --Jan Kameníček (talk) 14:44, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Thank you for welcoming me and feedback. I will definitely consider adding new works, however some pages need updates as well. It seems that they haven't been updated for a while. As for the alleged dispute on Theodosius' ethnicity, the sources on his Wikipedia article are pretty clear about his ethnicity. If I publish new works, they'll be Theodosious' works after 1891, which prove that he reverted to pro-Bulgarian views after 1891. I hope that answers your concern. 1) "Macedonian" refers not only to ethnicity, but also simply to anybody coming from Macedonia. 2) It is quite possible that he "reverted to pro-Bulgarian views after 1891", but this statement also means that he did not have them before 1891.
As for adding Theodosious' works (no matter whether coming from before or after 1891): that would be really welcome and I can help you with whatever you may need, just do not hesitate to ask. We strongly prefer scan-backed works, see Help:Proofread. If you choose a book to proofread, I can help with uploading the scans to Commons, founding the index page etc. --Jan Kameníček (talk) 15:38, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Antwort
Will do. Thanks for the offer. StephenMacky1 (talk) 20:04, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
