Yes! The Guided Tours! How eager I (also) am to improve and extend them! It was on one of those that I first met the smiley face, which I am calling "Simple Simon". (This might put me in the role of the pi-man!)
I was collecting links (for my own personal use, and to prove that I spelled them correctly) to pages I have been creating -- perhaps this will help you find your way around my small corner of the Wikiversity. I've lost something, too. I found (once, and once only) a tutorial on the BASIC computer language by someone whose last name is Felix. Wikiversity or Wikipedia -- I don't remember. Anyway, I thought a few remarks to address different operating systems (to preface his contibution) would be simpler than me trying to write a complete tutorial. Please let me know if you find it. There are others (such as School Freeware) which might serve beginners well, also. But Mr Felix's article inspired me to want to start writing something.
