[edit]From Old Georgian [Term?], from Proto-Georgian-Zan *pocx-. Cognate with Mingrelian ბუცხი (bucxi) and Laz ბუცხი (buʒxi). Also compare the possible dialectal variation ფორჩხი (porčxi).
