For many years educators and librarians have felt the need of a check list and index to the publications of the Office of Education and the Federal Board for Vocational Education. So many different series have been issued from time to time that it has been almost impossible for librarians to know definitely what constitutes a complete set of these publications. It has been more than 25 years since the last complete list of publications of the Office of Education was compiled (Bulletin, 1910. No. 3), and, in the intervening years, many new series have been issued. No complete list of the publications of the Federal Board for Vocational Education has ever been issued. With these thoughts in mind, it was thought advisable to prepare at this time a complete list of all publications of the Office of Education from 1910 to 1936, supplementing Bulletin, 1910, No. 3, and to include with it a list of the printed publications of the Federal Board for Vocational Education. The accompanying list is issued in two parts, Part I listing publications of the Office of Education; and Part II, listing the publications of the Vocational Division of the Office of Education and its predecessor, the Federal Board for Vocational Education. The various series are listed in alphabetical order and publications are arranged chronologically under each series. An index is provided for Part I and Part II publications.
