You caught Kanye’s short film Cruel Summer at Cannes earlier this year, right? The one that starred Kid Cudi and Pusha T as Lamborghini thieves in a parallel Arabian universe and played simultaneously across seven screens? Well brace yourselves, fans, because Yeezy just released a trailer for the sequel, Cruel Winter.

In the preview, ‘Ye forgoes traditional narrative in favor of atmosphere – it’s basically just a minute-long sequence of swamp images. Oh yeah, and the narration comes from George H.W. Bush’s 1991 State of the Union address. Because of course it does.

What does it all mean? Is this Kanye’s attempt to one-up Wuthering Heights? Beats me. All I know is that, at this point, we have literally no idea what to expect from the man who would be Mr. Kardashian.

Readers, what are your expectations and hopes for Cruel Winter?
