About P9D

P9D, กิตติ รวงผึ้งหลวง (Kitti Ruangphunglhuang) or นุ้ย (Nui), was born in August 13, 1985, in Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand. He is one of the biggest names of Thailand’s Hip-Hop community who inspired most of the rappers in Thailand, and being called one of the greatest lyricist rappers of all time.

After the death of his grandmother, his family moved to Bonkai slum where he met his new friends, who introduced him to the Thai Hip-Hop culture. And made his first appearance on the track “Slumm Village” on “LunatiX PlayerZ” album in 2004

P9D is the short term for “Pok Kao Deng”, the best hand in Pok Deng, the famous Thai card game. He also use P8D (Pok Paed Deng), the 2nd best hand in the game, as his producer alias. You can check out some of the beats produced by him in his music and his instrumental channel

P9D started to be known as a talented lyircal rapper around late 2000s. Before that, he was a member of the group of 5 rappers called Dogg Tribe in 2005, and another group called The Real in 2012. He was one of the founders of Rap Is Now, before he decided to split up because there were issues between him and the group regarding the group’s future.

He founded an indie label named Real Records (used to be known as Rocboynation), and created a bunch of groups filled with talented rappers, such as LVRK, K.Aglet, and Pratyamic from The Foolest, AT and Thaidogg from The Bad Boys, and NA$A, another talented lyricist.

Rap Is Now
Rap Is Now, the biggest Thai’s Underground Rapper’s community and the first ever Rap Battle TV show in Thailand, was founded in 2009 by P9D, Nazesus, and 1-FLOW.
From the hood of hip-hop party organizers, underground artists, and guys who love hip-hop with less than 500 fans in a small club down in Ekamai, Bangkok, to the event where over 4,000 hip-hop heads party together.
