Harrison Central Elementary, a PROUD School-Wide Title 1 School, serves 450+ students, PreK to third grade, through 70 dedicated faculty & staff members. We offer our students a welcoming & caring learning environment with Internet access, upgraded desktop computers & Smartboards in classrooms so all students can become part of the global society. Laptop carts are available for student use throughout the school day to supplement classroom instruction. Students also have access to a fully automated library media center. A variety of online educational programs, such as Lexia Core 5, Schoology and Clever, provide our students with a wealth of opportunities to excel and achieve. HCE teachers can better meet student needs as well with data warehousing resources designed by district personnel. These resources allow teachers to profile the past performance of a student and better meet the specific needs of the individual student.
