We are the U.S. Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation; the G9 Division of the U.S. Army Installation Management Command. Known as Army MWR, we manage programs and services that support readiness and resilience for Soldiers and Families.

G9 integrates and delivers Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs and services enabling readiness and resilience for a globally-responsive Army.

The headquarters staff is comprised of more than 500 Family and MWR professionals who provide support to Soldiers, Families and the more than 33,000 personnel in the worldwide Family and MWR workforce.

Family and MWR programs, services and activities offer Soldiers and Families opportunities to enrich their lives culturally and creatively. Our programs relieve stress, build strength and resilience, and help the Army Family stay physically, mentally, and financially fit.
