    For over a year, our media agency has been deeply involved in one of the most complex and exciting activities: Telekom's "Marsra Magyar" project. 🚀 This ambitious endeavor aimed to create a fully-fledged content ecosystem that seamlessly integrated brand messaging with engaging entertainment. It has been a fantastic opportunity and a rewarding challenge to be a part of this unique project, and we're incredibly proud of the creativity and innovation our team contributed to bring to life. 😊 Telekom's vision was to move beyond traditional advertising and build a universe that resonated with audiences. By opting for a mockumentary format, the campaign could deliver brand, product, and service messages subtly and humorously, ensuring viewers were entertained while absorbing key information. This versatile approach allowed for flexibility within a consistent framework, creating a recognizable identity that viewers could easily connect with the Telekom brand. The content universe supports a multi-platform strategy with the 2-season, 20-part sitcom series. This included 26 dedicated TV commercials, more than 50 online videos and more than 200 online and social media ads across two campaign flights. 💪

    In 2023 more than 10 million hot dogs were sold in the Hungarian Fresh Corners – which also means a huge amount of Heinz sauces sold with the hot dogs. 🌭 No wonder that the commercial relationship between Heinz and MOL Group has evolved into a strategic partnership, with the two brands - Fresh Corner and Heinz - communicating together for the first time. The Fresh Corner Heinz Smokey Baconnaise campaign involved introducing a new Heinz sauce to the Fresh Corner menu. This sauce is now available exclusively in the Hungarian Fresh Corners for the first 6 months of its introduction to the market.🤝 For this, our team has crafted a humorous and relatable campaign around the special name 'Smokey Baconnaise', which can be challenging to pronounce the right way. But regardless of how it's pronounced (Békönájz, Bakonizé or Bakonisz), the message is clear - this sauce is unutterably delicious! 😋 The campaign consists of various online and POS creative materials, next to a launch video. An extra element of the campaign is that we communicate not only about the introduction of the sauce, but also about the fact that the Heinz Smokey Baconnaise sauce can be purchased in 220 ml packages exclusively at Fresh Corners. 🙌 The shooting of the video took place at the Fresh Corner Cafe on the ground floor of the MOL headquarters between 5 pm and 4 am. 🎬 During this time, we had lot of fun (a lot of coffee) and consumed approximately 70 hot dogs. 🌭 👅

    Wavemaker Hungary had the pleasure of attending the CEE Addressable Summit in Prague, hosted by our wonderful colleagues from Wavemaker Czech Republic. The event brought together teams from Austria, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary to discuss the possibilities that lie within addressability and AI.     Throughout the summit, we delved into topics such as hyper-relevant communication, dynamic triggers, cookieless targeting, and how AI can be used in the most precise way. We were fortunate to have Oliver Saunders, our Global Head of Addressable, and Fulvio Milesi, Global Addressable Strategy Director, on board. Nathalie Moruzzi from the content team, and colleagues from choreograph Remi Hammerstein & Gary Kakoulli also provided valuable insights and support.     It was inspiring to see all of these countries come together to share their successes as well as their concerns and struggles, and we're excited to see what the future holds for addressability and AI in our region. We would like to thank everyone who attended and brought their thoughts to the table.    We look forward continuing our collaboration, spreading valuable ideas across borders, exchanging and applying best practices to achieve faster and more cost-effective executions, all to the advantage of both oursleves and our clients.

    The results of the 2023 M-list have been announced, and we managed to defend the title: in 2023, Wavemaker Hungary is the Media Agency of the Year! 🏆 It is an incredible pleasure for us to be ranked third on the renewed TOP 15 Creative Agencies list! 🥉👏 👏Also, we are really proud that our Blue Thread of Fate campaign came third on the TOP 10 Campaigns list and that our client Decathlon Hungary / Magyarország came fifth on the TOP 10 Clients list.🎉
