We are absolutely thrilled to announce a new partnership between Adalat AI and Karya to develop training data specifically tailored for legal models in Indian accents and languages. Karya and its cofounders have been among our earliest and strongest supporters, and we’ve been deeply inspired by their work and mission, making this collaboration especially meaningful for us. This partnership will not only enhance the effectiveness of our AI models in the Indian legal context but also create fair wage opportunities for workers from some of India’s most underserved communities. Together, we are committed to making a lasting impact on both the justice system and the lives of those who need it most.

We are deeply honored and excited to announce that Adalat AI's artificial intelligence platform for judges, stenographers, court clerks, and other court staff was officially launched by the High Court of Delhi on July 19, 2024. The grand inauguration ceremony was led by Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice Manmohan of the High Court of Delhi and Justice Shakdher, Hon'ble Sitting Justice and Chairman of the eCourts Committee of the High Court of Delhi. Several other senior justices from the High Court and district courts of Delhi graced the occasion. Acting Chief Justice Manmohan hailed Adalat AI's platform as a "game-changer" for the judiciary, commending our efforts in leveraging technology to address the specific needs of the courts. He highlighted the acute shortage of stenographers, even in a well-resourced state like Delhi, and emphasized how the Adalat AI platform, with its comprehensive suite of tools, will significantly alleviate this issue. Justice Shakdher praised our co-founders, Arghya B. and Utkarsh Saxena, for their dedication in working with the Delhi team to enhance and tailor the solution. He also recognized Adalat AI's operation as a non-profit with a mission to end judicial delays and improve access to justice. Justice Shakdher emphasized the platform's potential to boost efficiency and productivity in the courts, reducing the severe delays and backlogs that hinder justice. He also expressed his intention to introduce our solution to other states in India where it is urgently needed. We are incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement from the Delhi judiciary and for the splendid inauguration of our platform last week. Adalat AI is committed to building state-of-the-art AI and technological tools tailored to the needs of our courts to end judicial delays and improve access to justice. We are thrilled to partner with Delhi on this journey! A special shoutout to our incredible team of engineers, lawyers, and designers for their tireless work and unwavering commitment to developing this solution and partnership.
