    When we launched Swiggy on August 6, 2014, we ended the day with zero orders. The next day, we got our first-ever order, marking the true beginning of our journey. Amongst our earliest partners was Truffles, which started with just two orders a day on Swiggy. Since then, they've done as many as 7261 orders in a single day, showcasing how far we've come together. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary this month, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with partners like Nathan (Hole in the Wall), Ankeet (Anand Sweets), Avinash (Truffles), Sameer (Chinita), Pavandeep (Tadka Singh), Chethan (Tandoor Hut), Kaashif (Luckhnow Street), Roger (Via Milano) and Kashyap (Gramin) who believed in us when food delivery was still an emerging concept. Their trust and partnership have been invaluable, and they definitely are like core founding team members that helped create food delivery in India as we know it today :) Today, we proudly partner with over 300,000 restaurants. Much of our success is thanks to those early adopters who didn’t just join us but became core to our journey. Their support helped make ‘Swiggy it’ a household phrase across the country. Our community animals on streets could use some extra love and shelter too!   To help keep them safe amidst heavy rains in the cities, Swiggy has teamed up with Pedigree India  to bring you #PawProtecc. We're setting up 150 shelters across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore giving our four-legged friends 🐶 🐈 a safe and cozy spot to stay dry during the downpours. 🏠💙. Seeing the love our users have for pet products on Swiggy Instamart, it felt only right to extend that care to the animals on our streets. This collaboration, supported by our fantastic NGO partners— Friendicoes, Save Our Strays, and CUPA—may be a small step, but it’s making an impact. He had his work cut out for him as he aimed to strengthen the brand's identity and attract top talent. "Transitioning from a logistics company to a tech-first company, I knew we had to solidify our online presence to attract the best talent," he said. "Back then, we didn't have a LinkedIn page. To change that, I hired people from the marketing communications space to not only build the page but also create content, cover initiatives like Hackathons, and share our brand story."     In 2017 when the Supreme Court of India invoked American attorney Gary Bostwick to convey that privacy includes "Repose, Sanctuary and intimate decision" , it established privacy as a Fundamental Right under Article 21- that beautiful repository of most things that we hold dear. Amongst several magnificent impacts of KS Puttaswamy v Union of India judgment, was the fillip it gave to the long pending #DataProtection Laws - a privation that threatened the prospects of India's industry. Enter Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw Ji-Indian government's in-house genius- minister for three critical portfolios- IT & Electronics, Railways, Information & Broadcast. Post an elaborate consultative process, India's Digital Data Protection Laws emerged, which in WEF 2024, were described as a model template for all privacy laws. With its pan India presence, and millions of daily transactions, Swiggy supports this vital initiative of the Government of India, in our nation's journey towards #ViksitBharat and #fivetrillionGDP.     Rakhi at home is always a madhouse. Between the kids, the 🐶 & 🐱 it’s one happy circus. And ordering food for everyone needs a shared excel sheet. Which is why I’m so glad that our team at Swiggy anticipated this issue and cracked the problem, with #GroupOrdering Our order was placed simply and peacefully and delivered on time. So, we could have the usual fun, games, thoda sa ladai-jhagda and pyaar. The immediate adoption of Group Ordering tells us we solved a pain point and the numbers tell a sweet story: - Some orders were 20x the usual size in terms of order value because when do we all agree to eat the same thing 🍛🎁 - 15% more Group orders than usual on Rakhi, thankfully keeping the chaos on board games, not food orders. 🍽️💬 - Max items in an order? 40 boxes of sweets! Someone made their sibling super happy 🍬✨ - 34 users joined one order – That’s a hum saath-saath hain fam jam! 👨👩👧👦🎊 Do give group ordering a try and let us know if we helped a little with your happy chaos 🙂
