The 39th Medical Group, located at Incirlik Air Base, is the Air Force's only medical treatment facility in Turkey. The 39th Medical Group maximizes the health of the 39th Air Base Wing by delivering integrated operational support to ensure wartime readiness. The Medical Group also provides preventative and clinical health and wellness services for 2,000 beneficiaries in Turkey to include five geographically separated units and NATO forces. In addition, the 39 MDG operates an ambulatory surgery clinic with an expansion capability of up to 150 beds. The Group is accredited by The Joint Commission, American Dental Association, College of American Pathologists, and the Food & Drug Administration. Finally, the 39 MDG was selected as the 2014 and 2015 USAFE Clinic of the Year and in 2014, was recognized as the Air Force Surgeon General's Clinic of the Year.
