Persian/Arabic/Latin

Hi Michel! We don't usually treat family names with different writing systems together, we usually create a separate element for them. The Hungarian family name Abádi (Q112132574) may be similar in pronunciation to the Persian/Arabic name عَبَّادِي, but we still treat it separately. Please find another way to connect the lexeme! It is also possible fo items & it is widly used!

It may be widely used for items, or it previously was, but such practise is messy, and it seems to be discouraged now, other than maybe in some items where subject has native or official name. حول (حاشية على شرح الورقات)

أود الاستفسار منكم د. ميشيل حول إضافة اسم الجويني في بيان المؤلف، ومن المعلوم أنه مؤلف المتن المشروح، في حين أن المخطوط المقصود هو الحاشية التي كتبها القليوبي على شرح جلال الدين المحلي للورقات

وإن كنتم ترون ضرورة إضافة اسم الماتن، فإني أرى إضافة اسم الشارح (المحلي) كذلك

فما رأيكم؟

لاحظوا أني غيرت اسم المخطوط المذكور في صفحة المصدر، لأن المخطوط ليس شرح الورقات وإنما هو حاشية على الشرح

مؤلف الورقات: الجويني

شارح الورقات: جلال الدين المحلي

وهذه الحاشية على شرح المحلي كتبها القليوبي

ولم يذكر اسمه في المخطوط ولكني تحققت من ذلك عبر مقابلة المخطوط على المطبوع

لا أعلم لماذا نسب المصدر المخطوط إلى الماتن، ربما لأن الأصل (المتن) له، وذكر المحلي مساهمًا، والبقاعي ناسخًا، ولم يذكر القليوبي إلا في الملاحظات أم النور (talk) 21:07, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

Hello. Could you please explain your reasoning behind your change to the Europe PubMed Central (Q5412157) Arabic label? The label should identify the Europe PubMed Central database specifically. –LiberatorG (talk) 12:40, 25 July 2024 (UTC)

Hello, i translated the name to tell something related to the name of the database.

The way it was written was read: ppmd. The Arabic does not have short vowels written as letters, thus "ppmd" can be read in 4-5 different ways, all nonsense.

The label needs to identify the database. If you want to describe it, that can go in the description. Since the Arabic Wikipedia article is titled "مركز ببمد أوروبا", that is probably best for the Arabic label. –LiberatorG (talk) 13:19, 25 July 2024 (UTC)

 Done Sorry for the delay I was editing from my mobile phone.

The Problem with arabic that it is not possible to create acronyme, it does not work. The language is build differently. Thus, creating new words such as "ببمد", which is read "ppmd" with no vowels has no sense.

I hope the idea is clear.
