November 2021

edit

Thank you for your work in maintaining Wikidata. I have a small suggestion to improve your future work. If you notice that two items are duplicates, please merge them instead of blanking one of them. External sites use Wikidata identifiers, so it is important that we preserve the chain of references. We do this by making one item a redirect for the other. In particular, item ids are intended to be a permanent identifier, so we never reuse them for another concept. See Help:Merge for more information on how to merge items, and consider installing the Merge Gadget. Thanks!  - сyсn - (talkcontribslogs) 20:37, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Antwort

A clarification

edit

Hello SpinnerLaserzthe2nd! I saw your contributions to articles on Manipur related topics in English Wikipedia. I want to clarify one thing. Pangals are Muslims. They follow only Islam and no other religions. So, please remove their name from the page Sanamahism, Kanglei mythology and other associated articles. Pangals speak Meitei language as their mother tongue because they had been living in Manipur for more than 4 centuries, migrated from Bengal and other places. Due to the long time of their settlement, Pangals are treated as the indigenous people of Manipur. But this doesn't mean they follow indigenous religion (Sanamahism & Kanglei mythology/Meitei mythology). Haoreima (talk) 05:26, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Stop edit-warring

edit

Stop edit-warring. And do not create items to serve your edit-war (e.g. Q123036877). Veverve (talk) 04:59, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

When you refer to “flags of the Vatican City”, you are referencing to any type of flags from the Vatican City not just the national flag. SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 05:00, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Antwort
Yes. Veverve (talk) 05:02, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Antwort
Take a look at categories of other national flags. SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 05:03, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Antwort
Could you be more specific? Veverve (talk) 05:12, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Antwort
Most categories of national flags from other countries have a Wikimedia item. Take a look at the France's for example. SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 05:13, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Antwort
Yes, but they both their "Flag of" and "National flag" WCommons categories are linked to the same Wikipedia article, e.g. c:Category:National flag of Albania and c:Category:Flags of Albania. Veverve (talk) 05:21, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
