Preventive Care

The 366th Medical Group – Mountain Home Air Force Base Clinic offers Base Operational Support Team, Health Promotions, Nutritional Medicine, Public Health, and Immunization services for preventive care.

Immunizations

We provide all inoculations to active duty service members, retirees, and dependents. Flu shots are administered seasonally to all patients. Allergy services, including testing and shots, are available with a primary care manager referral.

The Immunizations Clinic is a walk-in clinic; no appointment required. Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; we’re closed for training the first Wednesday of each month until 9:30 a.m. We recommend contacting off-base locations and pharmacies before going, as their protocols/stock may change with an influx of patients.

Influenza Vaccine Update

Flu season is upon us. We’re concerned about your health and encourage everyone to get vaccinated annually against influenza.

It’s critical that everyone who is able receives a flu vaccine. It’s essential that active duty service members, active duty family members, and other beneficiaries are well-protected from influenza.

Please see the guidance below for getting the flu vaccine here at the 366th MDG - Mountain Home AFB.

Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs)

Active duty service members, National Guard, and Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine.

We don’t currently have any flu vaccines available to ADSMs, but will be receiving more of the vaccine soon. Once the vaccine comes in, ADSMs will have priority for vaccination.

You can get the flu vaccine from a participating network pharmacy or a TRICARE network provider (if you have a referral). Visit www.tricare.mil/flu to learn more. When you get a flu vaccine from anywhere besides the Mountain Home AFB MTF, follow your service policy guidance for recording the vaccine in your shot record.

You'll need to bring a copy of the record containing the following information to the Immunizations Clinic:

  • The date the vaccine was given
  • The vaccine name or code
  • Manufacturer
  • Lot number

All Other Beneficiaries

The flu vaccine is currently available for children ages 6 to 35 months at the MTF.
All other beneficiaries can visit a participating network pharmacy or TRICARE-authorized provider to get the vaccine. Visit www.tricare.mil/flu to learn more.

COVID-19 Vaccine

The CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 illness.
FDA-approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccines are currently available to all U.S. citizens and residents. Visit the CDC website for more information.
