Silver Fern Farms is New Zealand’s leading marketer, processor and exporter of premium quality lamb, beef, venison and associated products.
'Inspirational Food created by Passionate People' is our vision as a food company. It’s why we’re always thinking of ways to add to the enjoyment of a meal, and why we’re passionate about the food that we create.
We're counting down to the annual Red Meat Sector Conference which kicks off on Monday afternoon with our talented MC Nanogirl Labs Ltd's Dr Michelle Dickinson (MNZM).
We have a range of exciting speakers on the line up covering all areas of the supply chain. Not to be missed is our partnership sponsor Beef + Lamb New Zealand's session on Farming for Good - Why it Matters, facilitated by Newstalk ZB's Kerre Woodham.
Here at Silver Fern Farms, we're committed to Creating Goodness from the Farms the World Needs.
We’re a purpose-led organisation with a really proud story to tell. Driven by our passion, our innovation, and most importantly our people, we're helping to shape the future of food on the global stage.
We all play a part in Creating Goodness, together.
Ko mātou tēnei. This is our story.

Wow, wow, WOW. We’re lost for words 💙
Thank you to everyone who came along to one of the 12 The Bitches' Box shows that we ran in partnership with the New Zealand Rural Support Trust.
From Umawera in Northland to Gladstone in the Wairarapa - it was great to see over 1800 of you over the last few weeks having a good ol’ belly laugh, after what’s been a tough year for many.
The money from ticket sales went straight back to the local community groups running the BBQs at each show – over $25,000 was raised. Absolutely incredible.
A huge thanks also goes to all those who supported the shows including the regional Rural Support Trusts, FMG (Farmers Mutual Group), Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), Silver Fern Farms Ltd and all the community volunteers.
If you have any feedback about the show you attended, we’d love to hear it! Either comment below or flick us an email at [email protected].

The King Country sheep and beef farmer feels that right now rural communities are being decimated by land use changes and economic challenges. The red meat sector has its own problems with lamb prices subdued.
No matter what challenges we face, at Silver Fern Farms we are fortunate to have an awesome team of Engineers nationwide that make sure we continue producing top quality products that people love!
