With almost half of children reporting being a victim of or witness to violence in the last year*, youth clubs are a vital safe space for young people.

However, with more than 940 youth centres closing since 2010, young people need your help to access the safe spaces where they can address the issues destabilising their lives and futures.

Our Omaze Community has raised a staggering £3,150,000 in the Dorset House Draw to support BBC Children in Need. This incredible amount will help provide young people with safe spaces and someone to turn to when things are hard or in times of crisis.

So, once again, thank you for entering the Dorset House Draw. And thank you for supporting BBC Children in Need.

“We’re absolutely blown away that the Omaze house draw has raised an incredible £3,150,000 for BBC Children in Need, in just six weeks! We would like to thank everyone who entered the draw. In doing so, they've supported crucial youth work. Youth work is transformational and has a profound impact on young people's lives. With the funds raised, we'll be able to help give young people somewhere safe to go and enable them to build positive relationships with trusted adults – like youth workers – who help them to navigate the challenges that they are facing, and encourage them to thrive."
