We would like to use the magic word {{SHORTDESC:}} on trwiki. This feature is already available on enwiki, as explained In T184000.

{{SHORTDESC}} was specifically made only for English and there are no plans to enable it on other projects: T204136#4584681

Similar requests to expand its usage to ml and sr wikis have been declined in the past T240746, T204136.

T204136#4584681 is official statement. That Meta-wiki edit is what's not official and should've been reverted.
