Open, MediumPublic

Description

The idea is to have a set of common mistakes made on wiki, so that Editing's designer can work on concrete cases.

Prepare a list of checks with common mistakes made by newcomers

With Ambassadors, list the most common mistakes found on Wikipedia for which a check should exist to help the editor improving their edits

The different checks will be documented with the following information:

  • what is the level of importance for each mistake according to the wiki's rules
  • what are the possible consequences at each wiki.

Gradation
All checks will be assigned one gradation. We will use the following gradation regarding :

  • inform: this check is for non-blocking tasks (styling...)
  • warn: not resolving the check could lead to the addition of a maintenance template a warning template, or a light revert
  • block: not resolving the check could lead to a strong revert or a deletion
