BISSELL® Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Cleaner Recall

We are alerting consumers to a potential issue involving our battery management circuit boards on select Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner models. We are working closely with global consumer safety regulators to issue a voluntary recall of these affected products.

If you believe your BISSELL® product may be subject to this voluntary recall, please search for the model number behind the clean water tank. The number will be listed in a large black bar on the product information sticker.

If your product is subject to the recall please:

Remove your vacuum from the charging base.
Stop using your vacuum.

Q: What products are being recalled, and how can I tell if my product is affected?: A: Select models of Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Cleaners have been recalled. To determine if your machine is affected, look at the model number on the product information label located behind the clean water tank on the back of machine. The affected model numbers should match the model numbers listed above.
Q: How do I participate in the recall?: A: Remove your machine from the charging base, turn off the machine and stop using your device. Please contact us.
Q: My product appears to be okay. Can I continue to use it?: A: No. Even though your product appears to be safe, we are asking all consumers to remove your device from the charging base. Please contact us.
Q: Will I be able to repair the product myself?: A: No. All repairs require a BISSELL® Authorized Service technician. Do not repair the product yourself.
Q: Does this impact other BISSELL® products?: A: No. The issue with the battery is specific to the Cordless Multi-Surface Wet Dry Cleaners with model numbers listed above. This recall does not impact any other BISSELL® product.
Q: What does it mean if I have a dot above “MACHINE” on my product information sticker?: A: If your label has a dot above “MACHINE”, near the serial number, the battery has been replaced. These machines are safe to use.
