Menopause is a major transition in a woman's life, with many physical and psychological changes occurring. The complex changes that occur around menopause are primarily attributed to decreased levels of circulating estrogen. For approximately 85% of women, menopause is accompanied by disruptive symptoms and health considerations.

Hormone therapy (HT) is used to relieve these symptoms by supplementing the hormones that are lost during the menopausal transition. It is important to recognize the signs and symptoms of menopause and their impact on the quality of life of women, offering treatment when necessary.

How much do you know about HT? Test your knowledge with this quick quiz.
