Successful ISA-SAS May Technical Dinner Meeting on AI Innovations ISA Saudi Section in collaboration with Artificial Intelligence Global Company (AIGC) proudly held an enlightening Technical Dinner Meeting on May 22, 2024. The evening commenced with ISA-SAS President, Abdullah Alnufaii, delivering an opening address, extending a warm welcome to the attendees and expressing appreciation for their continuous support. The highlight of the evening was a captivating presentation by Eng. Ahmed Alshaikh who is the AI, Data Analytics, and Digital Director at AIGC and has over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Eng. Alshaikh shared invaluable insights into the transformative impact of AI on industrial operations, emphasizing how AI-driven solutions enhance safety, efficiency, and cost optimization. His discussion covered various innovative applications. Attendees were thoroughly engaged, taking advantage of the networking opportunities to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations. The interactive session highlighted the importance of integrating advanced data science techniques, secure data management, and collaborative efforts to drive innovation and extract valuable insights from diverse data sources. ISA Saudi Section’s Memorable Evening with Mr. Steve Mustard at the April Technical Dinner ISA Saudi Section proudly welcomed former ISA President and current ISA Executive Board member, Mr. Steve Mustard, to their April 2024 Technical Dinner. The evening commenced with ISA Saudi Section President, Abdullah Alnufaii, delivering a gracious opening address, extending a warm welcome to Mr. Mustard and expressing heartfelt appreciation for the recently concluded Automation and Digital Transformation Conference organized by the Section. It was an unparalleled privilege for the ISA Saudi Section to host such an esteemed luminary, who generously imparted wisdom gleaned from over thirty years of dedication and visionary leadership. As a token of gratitude, Mr. Mustard was presented with traditional Saudi gifts – the iconic Bisht and the fragrant oud, symbolizing deep respect for his contributions to ISA’s mission.

Great contribution of a young Saudi Innovator (Mr. Soliman Al Walaie) to this major event. I still remember our joint first technology development back in 2006, the Ultrasonic flow meter for refined products:)! This is where all started!

The 2024 ISA EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Pakistan) Student Games will be held as part of the ISA Saudi Automation & Digital Transformation Conference, scheduled for April 23–25, 2024. The competition will be held in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The competition will begin a day earlier, on April 22nd, and conclude on April 24th.
