The life and work of Francis Ford Coppola, the dynamic filmmaker behind The Godfather trilogy, Apocalypse Now, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula, is getting an in-depth examination in Don Coppola. Presented in a cinematic style, the biographical graphic novel is written and drawn by Amazing Améziane. Titan Comics has dropped a trailer for the book ahead of its release on July 9, 2024.

“Based on the lives and films of acclaimed cinema icons, this book focuses on the legendary Francis Ford Coppola of The Godfather fame,” per Titan’s description. “Following the story of the man behind the movie, Don Coppola shows the insight behind the critically acclaimed director Francis Ford Coppola and takes a look at both the impact of his movies and his life from a cinematic narrative.”

This is the second volume in Améziane’s Cine Trilogy of graphic novels, which began with Quentin by Tarantino. Don Coppola is a 228-page softcover that retails for $24.99.
