Geoff, Jack and his various sub-contractors did great work replacing our kitchen. Very happy with the work they did and Geoff always left us feeling he was working to achieve the best results for our kitchen. He took a professional pride in his work, and the work of everyone else involved with working on our kitchen. He and his son gave great advice on the look and some of the choices we made in the process. Fully intend to use him again to replace our bathroom.

Geoff was very busy but my intuition told me to wait for him to repair a ceiling damaged by a pipe leak and I did not regret it. Not only Geoff and his son jack managed to perform an impeccable job but I must praise them for the way they dealt with the whole process in a relaxed, respectful and professional manner. Those combined qualities are rare these days. There did not create any disruption in my home and I have already recommended them to someone.

Having already had GR8 do my garage and annexe conversion last year, it was an easy decision to get Geoff to re do my bathroom. Complete refit stripping everything out, right back to bare walls and floor boards. A top quality job was done. Geoff and his son Jack work hard to get things done. They use top quality trades people to do work alongside them to get the best results. Geoff’s suggestions and know how are second. Highly recommended.

Geoff and his team added a utility area inside our garage. They did a fantastic job. Right from the start Geoff was incredibly helpful. He gave guidance on sourcing all the parts required. He was prompt and reliable with communication and when he and his team were at our home working they were easy to have around, polite, professional and very tidy! After Geoff and his son Jack completed our garage conversion to an exceptional standard we were prepared to wait for them to replace our internal doors. Again Geoff’s standard of workmanship was exceptional as is his customer service and tidiness. He treats each job as if he were doing it for his own home, thinking through practicalities and the finish. All questions are answered, all requests considered and factored in. I contacted GR8 to fit a new kitchen. Geoff has been a pleasure to deal with from the start to the end. He gave me great advice about design and about where to save money and where to spend a bit more for better results in the long run. He's always very responsive, polite and very personable. The kitchen has been fitted to very high standard, great finish, attention to details. While this was done, a few small maintenance jobs came up around the flat (plastering, plumbing, carpentry), and he was able to take those too and take care them, saving me the hassle of looking for other workmen. I will most definitely use GR8 for any future project, and would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

Awesome job. All works completed to a very high standard. Very reliable, personable and easy to communicate with throughout. All trades were managed well and were to the same high standard. Geoff kept to the original quote, was experienced, reliable, clean and tidy, and went out of his way on attention to detail. He really cared about the end result and that we were happy with the work, making excellent design suggestions/changes along the way. We would highly recommend and will be using Geoff again.

Geoff visited very quickly after our first approach to appraise the work required and prepare quote, and made helpful suggestions as to how best to proceed with the project (boxing repair and ground floor tiling to replace carpets). A little wait for his availability to commence work was actually reassuring, as his advance bookings are obviously busy and in demand; not just waiting for the next work to come along! Again during the works, Geoff was helpful with suggestions, and he and his team were very professional and proficient. Paul, the tiler, was really good, ensuring an excellent finish through his thorough preparation and eye for lines! All the team were trustworthy, respectful and tidy. Overall delighted with the result, with no surprises come final invoice!

We have recently installed a garden office/cabin and wanted the existing patio extended around it. Geoff and Tyler gave us lots of practical advice and ideas and we settled on the detail of the design. They completed the work within 5 days, despite inclement weather, and did a professional job with a sound base (better than our existing patio!) and matching stone. Really helpful and professional guys, respectful of your property and committed to customer satisfaction. Highly recommended.

Geoff provided a clear quote for the work to be done. The work was in two phases, the first phase (pre Christmas) consisting of extending the existing utility room into the integral garage so that there was direct access from the kitchen. He fitted out the extended utility room with new units, a new boiler and completed all decoration. The second phase (post Christmas) was a new kitchen including all decoration. We found Geoff to be hard working and a real craftsmen. Geoff was very helpful in giving us ideas of better ways of doing things and at overcoming difficulties. Geoff was very accommodating of any changes we wanted as the project progressed and always gave us a revised quote for extra work so we were kept abreast of costs. Geoff went the extra mile and even took delivery of our new (unplanned!) washing machine and plumbed it in for us at no extra cost. We have no hesitation in recommending Geoff and his company.

Geoff and his team have just completed the widening of our bathroom door to make it wheelchair accessible. His work is outstanding in all respects. The work was completed in 3 days and he made sure that I could access the facilities when I required by ensuring that the work area was kept clear of dust and debris as much as possible. He was cheerful, hardworking and was clearly highly experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of this type of work. We selected Geoff because he responded quickly with a detailed quote which exactly met our requirements. The construction and carpentry work are outstanding, and the finish and attention to detail was equally impressive. When making good the wall around the doorway he kindly also made good a small area that had previously been left unpainted by my removal of a hand rail and made no charge for this. We were delighted with the end result and highly recommend GR8.

Outstanding in all respects. The work involved was to remodelling the entrance way and steps from the utility room to the garage and replace the fire rated door. Geoff has been great from the start! Gave sound advice on our very outdated kitchen and stuck to his quote. Even when the worktops arrived a week late he made the effort to get the job done before a deadline that we had which was hugely appreciated. Geoff and his team recently completed a complicated modernisation and conversion of our bungalow to make it wheelchair accessible. One of the reasons we selected Geoff was because he responded quickly with a detailed quote and gave us the opportunity to meet and discuss our needs with his team very early on. The build involved moving 5 internal walls to open up the property and installing a new wet room, en-suite, kitchen, flooring and new heating system, including all the carpentry, electrics and plumbing. His attention to detail and quality of finish was outstanding. His approach to customer care is also excellent. He gave us very useful and helpful design advice and guidance, based on his considerable experience and responded to queries promptly. We would have no hesitation in recommending Geoff and he will certainly be our first port of call for future work. Geoff completed a complete refurb of our hall following significant water damage and a bathroom refit. The ceilings had to be replaced; floor tiles replaced and full redecoration. I am very pleased with the result. The job was more involved than originally planned but this did not cause any problems. Geoff involved specialist plumbers and electricians - got on with the job and the end result is even better than i had anticipated

The job involved splitting a large utility room into a bathroom and smaller storage room. Measurements were tight and had to be consistently accurate to fit a large fridge in one, and a shower in the other. One window had to be split into two smaller windows, and plumbing altered. All the work was done as agreed and to a high standard by the different teams e.g. plumbing, plastering, brick-laying, wiring. Once these two rooms were completed the next-door room had carpet changed for wooden flooring. We followed through with Geoff's recommendations and are very pleased with the result. Three main reasons we would use GR8 Construction and Carpentry Ltd again: 1) Geoff responds quickly to all concerns, queries 2) his planning is detailed and accurate 3) he and his excellent teams are all professional and polite. I found Geoff on Which Trusted Traders and would recommend him to everyone. We wanted the ground floor of the house to have underfloor heating throughout but needed advice and guidance, which he and Richard (the plumber) totally provided. Whenever we had questions before starting, he always had a reassuring answer and during the project he called each evening to check that we were happy with the progress. This is not just PR, he really wants to see that expectations are being met. The finished result is better than we could have imagined; the attention to detail is incredible. Geoff is an excellent project manager, has detailed knowledge of his field and was able to deliver what he proposed on budget. He is honest, trustworthy and great at what he does. Geoff and his team re-did our bathroom and kitchen in a 16th century grade 2 listed cottage, including new boiler, roof insulation and some re-designing of storage space. As the house is so old nothing is level, but the team did an amazing job of completing the work to a fantastic standard while looking after the character of the cottage. Geoff completed the work on time and budget, and on top of this the whole are just lovely, friendly guys. They made recommendations during the work that were very sensible and even taught us how to do some small jobs for next time. Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be using in the future.
