We are delighted to announce our $37m Series A Fundraise. The investors who have committed to 44.01 include climate leaders, geological carbon storage experts and global technology developers. The round is led by Equinor Ventures with Shorooq Partners in the UAE, as well as (in alphabetical order) Air Liquide Venture Capital (ALIAD), Alumni Ventures, Amazon's Climate Pledge Fund, Climate Investment (CI), Innovation Development Oman, Planet A Ventures, Salica Investments Oryx Fund, Siemens Financial Services, Sumitomo Corporation and several other investors. Existing investors including Breakthrough Energy Ventures have also recommitted to 44.01’s technology by participating in the round. This fundraising will enable us to continue refining our technology, expand internationally, and build commercial-scale mineralisation projects.    Thank you to all our investors for demonstrating their confidence in our mineralisation technology. We are delighted to have been selected as one of the Top 20 XPRIZE Carbon Removal Finalists for our Direct Air Capture + Mineralisation project with Aircapture in Oman. The XPRIZE Carbon Removal team conducted a rigorous assessment of applicants’ environmental and social impact, sustainability and cost before picking finalists with the potential to reach gigatonne scale. Protecting our climate will require a range of high-quality carbon removal solutions. We’re delighted to be part of this inspiring group.
