Founding directors Elliot and Lawrence discuss launching ARTO
Having known each other for nearly 30 years Elliot and Lawrence decided to build their own company in Kent, where they grew up, and create opportunities that were only available in London previously. From the naming of the company to moving offices five times to make space for an ever-growing team.
Building A Better Future
ARTO is based in the heart of Kent with a brand new office under construction in the city center of Canterbury. The new future-thinking office will house our collaborative workspace along with some exciting new additions including a world-class gym, podcast studio, a suite of meeting rooms, and our new deep-work areas for our team to use when they need some quiet time. We want to bring all the benefits of working in London to our home town and create opportunities for the next generation.
Team Work & Culture at ARTO
ARTO started with just Elliot and Lawrence in early 2020. Since those days the business has grown rapidly, and by the end of 2022, we will have 30 people on the team. Our success has been reliant upon our in-depth training and development and also our culture. This is exactly why we are investing so heavily in team-building exercises and days where our people can gather and get to know each other away from the busy floor or a recruitment company.
