Real AI that finds and eliminates the sources of delay risk. Join the project risk revolution ✊

Über uns

At nPlan we are building the world's first system to understand construction project planning. We make heavy use of machine learning to forecast outcomes of construction projects before the first shovel hits the ground. Our vision is that all construction projects should be built on time and budget, through a better understanding of plan outcomes. We are bringing certainty of the outcome to the industry, plan first. We will eliminate the crippling effects of poor planning and create a world where we’ve de-risked building infrastructure, enabling the construction of better buildings to help us live better lives.

Everyone’s favourite nFeature just got a neat little update… Driving Paths automatically creates a network diagram of your schedule, making it easy to: - Identify the critical and sub-critical paths requiring monitoring and proactive treatment - Contextualise the activity and milestone forecasts provided by our Predictive AI Using Driving Paths beats spending days creating ‘homebrew’ visualisations of project plans and is basically Critical Path Analysis on steroids, which is why our users love it. But–as good as it is–we continue to work tirelessly to improve it. Which is where today’s update comes in. Introducing: Driving Paths with Delay Accumulation! As nPlan Product Manager Carlos A. Ledezma, Ph.D explains below, you can now use a simple toggle to see how much of the delay forecast to the end milestone is being contributed by specific nodes - and focus/prioritise your risk mitigation activities accordingly! Watch the short video below to learn more, and then head to our website to check out Insights Core, our no-frills project risk package for Planners, which is built around Driving Paths: https://lnkd.in/diT5g4cz

If you ask an AI trained on past project schedules to create a plan for a *cooked lasagne*, what do you get? No, we’re not trying to make the (in)famous Wembley Lasagne happen at last - this is an actual test we ran while developing GraphGen, the model which will power Schedule Studio, our upcoming product for Planners and Schedulers. In case you’ve not seen or heard us talking about it yet, Schedule Studio is a Generative AI tool which is able to turn a project description or RFP into a baseline schedule in a matter of minutes. With Schedule Studio, Planners will be able to slash weeks off the time it takes to develop a baseline schedule, enabling them to produce more, high quality schedules in less time - while enabling the contractors they work for to bid for more work, more effectively, and use realistic plans to have productive conversations with clients earlier in pre-construction. nPlan CTO and Co-Founder Alan Mosca recently discussed Schedule Studio on the GenAI podcast, and our lasagne test was just one of the many tasty morsels about the product he shared with host Dale Foong; watch the clip below and then head over to YouTube to watch the full episode for a feast of inside information on Schedule Studio, AutoReport and the rest of the products we unveiled at our July ‘AI Day’ event: https://lnkd.in/etbDGWaj Oh, and if you’d like to get early access to Schedule Studio, you can join the waitlist here: https://lnkd.in/ehzCZMVD

We ❤️ working with Project Managers. Here's how you know: - We just launched Insights Project Management Professional - a new version of our flagship forecasting and risk management platform designed specially for, you guessed it, Project Managers. Read about it here: https://lnkd.in/egCeTRMt - We recently built a new homepage specifically for PMs within Insights - it's called Control Room and it is the PERFECT place to prep for those all-important weekly progress meetings (the clip below shows some of the functionality). - We just published a piece on our blog by Taylor Burns on how Project Managers can use Control Room to set up the perfect risk dashboard for project assurance --> https://lnkd.in/ef_HPgK8 We're aware that's a lot to be going on with but if you're a Project Manager and would like to stay on top of everything we're doing, we recommend signing up for our monthly newsletter - it's all-killer, no-filler and we'll never spam you: https://lnkd.in/eED4QK3s

An update on Schedule Studio. At AI Day on Jun 27th, we announced Schedule Studio, a new #genai product that would allow users to generate schedules from scratch. The demo was as simple as "upload a random RFP text and get a schedule back". We started signing potential users to a waitlist, while we refine the workflow and experience of creating a new #schedule without ever touching #primavera. I'm please to say that we will begin rolling out early access to the users on the waitlist in the third or fourth week of August. There will be a "credits for feedback" usage model for those first users, as we work tirelessly towards generating usable schedules with little required refinement. I'm excited to see what Schedule Studio will be able to produce, and finding its limitations! Link to sign up to the waitlist in the comments.

“The pace of change within project controls and project delivery is rapid and managing giga-projects can be immensely complex. No single organisation possesses all the expertise and solutions to meet these challenges…therefore an ideal capital project control and performance management approach requires an ecosystem of partners and alliances…” Wise words indeed from Rupert French, Sion Rhys, Le Tilahun and Team at PwC Middle East - one of nPlan’s trusted partners - and the convenor of a genuinely interesting panel discussion on the importance of forming alliances to deliver enhanced project controls capabilities. nPlan CEO Dev Amratia was invited to be part of the discussion, and shared some of what he’s learnt as the leader of a tech company providing AI-powered capabilities within alliances. Check out the clip below and then watch the full thing at: https://lnkd.in/eX8u_f8r
