    We’ve just witnessed an incredible series of inspiring sessions from industry leaders at the forefront of AI innovation. 👏 Marisa Zalabak, IEEE Co-chair of AI Ethics Education & Chair of Planet Positive 2030 Global Methodologies and Senior Fellow with The Digital Economist, spoke about AI ethics; Rebecca Hinds, PhD, Head of the Work Innovation Lab at Asana, shared intriguing research and insights on adopting AI in the workplace; Dan Reich, Chief Technical Officer at Remesh, walked through synthetic data and an iterative approach to developing a synthetic sample feature for LLM development. After a break to recharge, we heard from Zoe Donnenfield, Senior Associate at Cognizant about the Synapse Initiative which focuses on empowering people with AI adoption and cutting-edge technology skills; Sonam Jindal, Program Lead at Partnership on AI, rounded off the main session with a compelling talk on responsible AI application. #AI #AIResearch #AISummit #Technology

Sonam Jindal, Program Lead at Partnership on AI, completes our incredible line-up of keynote speakers with a talk on responsible AI and improving conditions for data enrichment workers at the Prolific x Asana AI Research Summit today. Sonam is leading PAI’s Responsible Sourcing Across the Data Supply Line workstream. She is interested in creating greater transparency over how #AI is being developed and its relationship with complex, sociotechnical systems. Sonam is also particularly interested in deepening our understanding of how data supply chains fueling AI are impacting the global economy, labor relations, inequality, and knowledge stratification.     In the 6 hours after the debate, Outset conducted 90 in-depth, AI-moderated interviews with undecided / independent voters. That's right, 90. Research, no matter how in-depth or nuanced, should not take weeks. Particularly when it comes to politics. And thanks to Prolific for being an excellent partner in finding these folks between the hours of 11pm and 2am ET 🤝 Here's what we learned from the voters... ➡️ 68% felt Vice President Harris won the debate. When talking about what stood out to people from the night, they did not all mention the 😸🐶 (only 26% said that) -- the most common theme was Harris' overall performance on stage (50%). This was not about substance but about her composure, style, and general vibes. There was quite a lot of focus on Trump's bizarre statements (47%) that were not on message, even from folks who thought he won. This clearly didn't help his case with undecided voters. All that said, those who believe Trump won did point to his points on policy (62%) and his criticism against Harris' and Biden's administration (69%). And regardless of who they believe won, participants expressed a desire for more substance by all parties.
