I think I'm going MAD!... Are you familiar with recruitment companies that demand immediate payment after an offer is made? A connection of mine has been dealing with one such company, and it has left them feeling uneasy. The company, let's call them Z, has also noted that failure to comply with their payment terms will invalidate their commitment to refund, based on a sliding scale, if the employee fails to start or leaves soon after starting.
