More Stellantis UK retailer visits this week, where I witnessed great activity and dynamics in our network, underpinned by a strong energy and spirit of initiative. I visited EDEN MOTOR GROUP and experienced the rare opportunity of parking on the roof! At Snows Motor Group, I met the fleet hub team, which is dedicated to Stellantis UK. Later at Drive Motor Retail Limited, I saw a well organised and productive workshop and discussed the many commercial programs that are helping the business to progress. At Charters Peugeot Uxbridge it was great to see the energy of the new generation in sales and their initiatives to successfully launch new Peugeot e3008. Likewise at FG Barnes in Guilford, another solid partner, representing Vauxhall Motors Ltd and with strong new and used sales operations, positive dynamics and commitment were evident.   Just like for the football final this weekend, the mood among the teams in the Stellantis UK network and the entrepreneurs that lead them, is full of excitement and positive energy.  Abarth & C. FIAT’s 125th anniversary “Smiling to the future” event has just come to a close at the Lingotto building in Turin. My visit to South #Wales this week also included visits to Griffin Mill Garages in #Pontypridd, which represents the Peugeot UK, Fiat and Abarth & C. Spa brands for Stellantis UK, Cawdor Motor Group, representing Vauxhall Motors Ltd in Llanelli, FRF Group (DS Automobiles UK and Vauxhall Motors Ltd) and Day's Motor Group (Peugeot UK and Fiat) in #Swansea. During my visit I experienced beautiful local products including Welsh Cakes and Bara Brith fruit loaf. I also marvelled at the life size pre-historic dinosaur replica models that adorn and add character to the large used car display at Day's Motor Group. Most importantly I met skilled and enthusiastic staff members at all sites, dedicated to success and the highest levels of customer service. We’re delighted to share that Peugeot continues to be the UK’s best-selling electric van manufacturer in 2024! ⚡️ Not only that, from 2025, production of the fully electric E-Expert will begin at Luton, supporting British manufacturing. The new Peugeot E-Partner is already manufactured at Ellesmere Port, the UK’s first EV-only volume manufacturing plant. 🇬🇧 Earlier this year, Peugeot refreshed the entire LCV range with the newest all-electric models; E-Partner, E-Expert and E-Boxer, and we’re delighted to see the range topping UK’s electric van sales. This afternoon I continued west along the South #Wales coast to #Swansea and visited the Stellantis UK site of Bassetts, which represents Citroën UK and Jeep. The dealership is characterised by energy – Josh a sales advisor in his early 20s and full of enthusiasm for Citroën, Jake a 17-year-old apprentice, who has just started his working life this week and Cory, a third-year apprentice, awaiting his final assessment results. A desire to learn and develop was evident from both Jake and Cory. I was delighted to meet Hew Bassett, third generation of the Bassett family and continuing a legacy of offering great service and a warm, welcoming showroom environment  for staff and customers. Later this morning I visited Evans Halshaw in #Newport, which represents the Vauxhall Motors Ltd brand for Stellantis UK. I met the excellent and very welcoming reception team and two very strong advocates of the Vauxhall brand in Robert Parry and Darren Bowen, who say that Vauxhall is for life. In fact, Rob assured me that if we cut him in half, he would have Vauxhall and the griffin logo running right through him, like a stick of rock! We discussed several business matters and I have made a commitment to visit in three months’ time to speak again. A sunny morning in the beautiful city of #Bristol, where I visited City Motors, a Stellantis UK site representing Peugeot UK, Citroën UK and SPOTiCAR UK. Our retail partner achieves 100% customer satisfaction in sales and in just a few moments of clear, professional communication we were able to understand how we can help and improve from our side.
