Super misleading info resulting in my…

Super misleading info resulting in my signing up for a bad deal for my new electric service!

The company I choose was 4change Energy & they have some sort of $100 credit if I reach certain thresholds in energy consumption.

No where was that disclosed up front! Wish I would have choose something else!

We offer several tools on site to try to inform users of what they should expect their bill to be, including bill amounts at 500/1000/2000 kWh, a custom usage calculator, and links to electricity facts labels, which provide detailed information about each plan. BAIT & SWITCH!!!! I was misled and ended up with the…

I was misled and ended up with the WORST deal EVER!! The cost was 11.9 and I got the bill and found that it was almost .20 which was MORE than I was paying before!! I switched through your site and ended up paying the highest bill I have EVER had to pay almost $600.00!!! when I thought I was getting a great deal I wanted to lock in the price so I am stuck with this provider for 3 years!!!!

Cuts through the confusion of choosing a new electric plan!

Easy to find the best plans for me with the available filters and rankings. With so many different options out there, it's nice to have the ability to compare plans. The ability to get the details for each of the plans is a bonus and makes it so much easier to choose the best one.

Rescued From Confusion!

After totally confusing myself looking at the website, trying to understand the different Rates/Charges for below or over 1000 or 2000 KWH on what I thought were fixed rates, I called in for help. Alex explained the mystery, analyzing my home which has natural gas using less electric during three seasons. Thank you Alex!

Incomplete or incorrect info given to me

I was told that my current energy company by law had to terminate my husband's account due to death and that I could sign with new company with no fees for early termination. So I signed up with new company and my old company said I could not change w/o etf's being added to my final bill. I told him I wanted to wait to switch until.i talked to my current carrier and he said I had 3 business days to change back, but what he didn't tell me is that could take up to 21 days to process.

After calling 7 times

After calling 7 times, I finally reached someone who could understand what I was asking and could help me select a suitable plan. Not sure where in the world they were located. I was very disappointed that I was unable to speak with a representative in the US.

Choose an electric provider with confidence

This site allowed me to search for plans using the criteria most important to me. I could do side by side comparisons on the plans I was considering and in a couple of hours was able to choose with confidence the plan most suited to our needs. We have been with our new provider since end of January and have had a couple of times I’ve had questions which were quickly answered by their customer service rep who was knowledgeable and available without a wait at all. Their digital accounting is easy to follow as well.

Good source of data on electrical…

Good source of data on electrical energy. Tennessee has very low rates and I found a chart that shows the cost of TVA power at different times of day for large industrial companies. There is only about 1-2 cent/kWH higher price for peak power. I would like to see a comparison of peak power cost by state.

Great Resource for Someone Who's Been Out of the Home Game for a While

Super easy to compare prices & find the best plan for my needs. Been 10+ years since I had to sign up for electricity. There's a lot out there now & it can all be very confusing. This website made a fainting task I had been stressing over all week super easy. Once I chose my plan & entered my personal info, I was signed up & confirmed by email for scheduled service at my new home almost immediately. Thank you!
