Anaheim Convention Center Transportation and Parking

Parking

Parking is available at the Anaheim Convention Center for $25 per standard sized vehicle / $50 per oversized vehicle (vehicles more than 19 feet in length). Oversized vehicles must be parked in designated spaces and cannot exceed 40 feet in length. The Anaheim Convention Center accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Google Pay, and Apple Pay (cash is not accepted). Please allow ample time for parking, as some lots may be off-site. Accessible parking is on a first-come, first-served basis at Car Park 1 and Car Park 4. Please note: Overnight parking is prohibited at the Anaheim Convention Center.

Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART) Buses

ART buses may be utilized from local public transit hubs, including the ARTIC station, as well as select area hotels. At the Anaheim Convention Center, there is an ART stop located on Convention Way in front of the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort.

Please visit rideart.org/art or download the A-Way WeGo mobile app for local transportation routes and schedules. On August 9, 10, and 11, show your D23 Event Badge when boarding ART buses to receive complimentary fare.

Rideshare and Taxis

There will be a special rideshare drop-off and pickup location for the event located in the Toy Story Parking Lot on Harbor Boulevard. Please use “D23 Experiences” to easily search a rideshare app for drop-off at this location.

Taxis may drop off and pick up on the north side of Convention Way.

Bag Check

For the safety and convenience of all guests, please do not bring large items with you on D23 Shuttles. At the Anaheim Convention Center, two complimentary bag check locations are available to guests for storage of their large items while they are at Honda Center shows. These bag check locations are in Arena Plaza and Grand Plaza, as shown in the map above. They are open from 9 a.m. each day until 90 minutes after Honda Center shows end. Note that the bag check location in Lobby A/B is only open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, and therefore cannot be used to store items during Honda Center shows. Please claim your items before bag check locations close each day; no items may be stored overnight.

Honda Center Transportation and Parking

For guests with tickets that include access to evening shows at the Honda Center, it is recommended that guests allow at least 90 minutes for travel time from the Anaheim Convention Center to the Honda Center. For the safety of all guests, there will be security screening at all event entrances, including bag search and metal detection.

Doors for the Honda Center will open two (2) hours prior to each presentation start time:

  • Disney Entertainment Showcase: Friday, August 9, at 7 p.m. (doors at 5 p.m.)
  • Disney Experiences Showcase: Saturday, August 10, at 7 p.m. (doors at 5 p.m.)
  • Disney Legends Ceremony: Sunday, August 11, at 5 p.m. (doors at 3 p.m.)

Parking

For guests with tickets that include access to evening shows at the Honda Center, D23 is offering complimentary parking in Honda Center parking lots, offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to limited availability. Honda Center parking lots will open approximately two (2) hours before each show. Guest parking is available in Honda Center Lots 3 and 4 (enter off of Ball Rd.). Accessible parking is in Honda Center Lot 1 (enter off of S Douglass Rd.) on a first-come, first-served basis.

Designated accessible parking is available for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. If a designated disabled parking space is not available, a parking staff member will direct you to an available parking option closest to the venue. If you have specific parking needs (e.g., additional space to lower a wheelchair ramp or lift) please notify a parking staff member for assistance.

Please be prepared to show your Honda Center ticket for parking lot access. The Honda Center parking lots will close two (2) hours after each show ends.

D23 Shuttles to/from the Anaheim Convention Center

For guests with tickets that include access to evening shows at the Honda Center, D23 is offering complimentary round-trip shuttles from the Anaheim Convention Center to the Honda Center.

At the Anaheim Convention Center, shuttles, including accessible shuttles, are available at both Transit Plaza and Arena Plaza. All shuttles will operate on a continuous departure schedule, available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to limited availability.

At the Honda Center, shuttles will drop off and pick up in front of the Honda Center on Douglass Road. After the shows, shuttles departing the Honda Center will stop at both Transit Plaza and Arena Plaza.

At the Honda Center, accessible shuttles will drop off and pick up on the southwest side of the building near Lot 1. After the shows, accessible shuttles departing the Honda Center will either drop off at Transit Plaza or Arena Plaza. There will be designated shuttles based on drop-off location. Note that accessible shuttles will not be stopping at both Anaheim Convention Center locations, so please know if you are going to Transit Plaza (near Car Park 4) or Arena Plaza (near Katella Ave and Car Park 1) and board the shuttle going to that location accordingly. There is limited capacity on accessible shuttles. To reduce delays, it is recommended that guests with accessibility needs plan to drive themselves, utilize ART buses, or use rideshare.

Shuttles will depart from the Anaheim Convention Center starting 2.5 hours prior to showtimes: at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Shuttles will depart from the Honda Center until 1 hour after each show ends.

Before and after Honda Center shows, ART buses will have additional round-trip routes to/from select area hotels to/from the ARTIC station, which is located just across the street (about a 7-minute walk) from the Honda Center. When exiting the ARTIC station, guests should use the sidewalk and follow traffic control officer instructions to access the Honda Center.

At the Anaheim Convention Center, there is an ART stop located on Convention Way in front of the Clarion Hotel Anaheim Resort. A summary of ART service to/from the Honda Center is below, but please visit rideart.org or download the A-Way WeGo mobile app for specific local transportation routes and schedules.

Evening service to/from the Honda Center begins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Return service ends 1 hour after Honda Center shows end. On August 9, 10, and 11, show your D23 Event Badge when boarding ART buses to receive complimentary fare.

  • Stop 3: Hotel Lulu & Hyatt House
  • Stop 4: ARTIC Station, Bays 12/13 (Honda Center)

Rideshare and Taxis

Guests using rideshare services and taxis must be dropped off and picked up at the ARTIC station, which is located just across the street (about a 7-minute walk) from the Honda Center. Please use “D23 Showcases” to easily search a rideshare app for drop-off at this location.

When exiting the ARTIC station, guests should use the sidewalk and follow traffic control officer instructions to access the Honda Center.

Bag Check

If you should bring an item to the Honda Center that does not fit within the Honda Center bag policy, it may be checked at a bag check location at the Honda Center for $15 per item, payable only via card, Google Pay, or Apple Pay. There will be a mobile locker truck with compartments, as well as the ability to check oversize items. The Honda Center bag check is located on the west side of the venue, as shown in the Honda Center map above. Bag check at the Honda Center is open 2 hours prior to each show until 1 hour after each show ends. Please claim your items before bag check locations close each day; no items may be stored overnight.
