Zachary James Wittkopp is facing six charges, including possession of child pornography and sodomy.
BAY CITY, Mich. (WJRT) - A Bay City man is facing six charges after police say he was looking at child pornography online.
Police say 25-year-old Zachary James Wittkopp was arraigned Wednesday in Bay County District Court on the following charges:
- Four count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
- One count of possession of child sexually abusive material.
- One count of sodomy.
The Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit launched the investigation after learning that Wittkopp allegedly looked at images of child sexually abusive material on the internet.
Authorities seized electronics from Wittkopp residence during the investigation.
