FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) - Recall paperwork has been filed against three members of Mott Community College's Board of Trustees following the approval of the interim president.
The move comes after a heated meeting Monday night as the board approved the contract for interim president Shaunda Richardson-Snell.
Every seat in the room was full as faculty members voiced concerns about the board's choice, saying that Richardson-Snell has no higher education experience.
Trustees John Daly, Wendy Wolcott and Janet Couch are the subjects of the recall petitions.
The language in the recall notice cites the trustees' vote to approve Richardson-Snell's contract.
Richardson-Snell starts at the end of the month.
