(WJRT) - The playoffs are where the best performers take center stage. Against Tri-Valley in the regional semifinal, Gunnar Weber had one of his best games of the season.
“Teammates played well, everyone was going, it just happened to fall on my stick at the time," said Weber.
The Saginaw Valley League MVP would score every goal for Wolves as they defeated the Titans, 4-2.
“He’s been nothing but a privilege to coach for 4 years. He’s continuously knocking on the door. He’s one of the best players in the state. When he leads by example like that, it’s contagious," said head coach of Bay City Central, Zachary Shalk.
The Wolves are moving to the regional title game against Heritage, Weber already has the road to a state championship planned out.
