I wanted so badly to like this product. I've been looking to 'go green' wherever I can and remove plastics as much as possible. I thought this product was going to be perfect! Steel with coconut fiber scrubbers, it seemed like SUCH a good idea. Unfortunately the performance is really lacking. I've only had this thing for about a year, if that and the prongs are already starting to rust. The stand and everything are very sleek and modern and I don't really have a problem with them, the real trouble is the prongs do not keep a grip on the coconut pads. I can get maybe one good swirl around the bowl before the pad gets loose and I have to go fishing for it. My toilets are not particularly dirty but I should be able to scrub for a minute or two before I can no longer hold onto the scrubber. I was looking forward to trying out this product and then buying a second one for my other bathroom, at this rate I'm not sure I'm even going to buy refills for this one. Majorly disappointing.

I'm sure a lot of y'all have tried the clorox toilet brush and find the pads fall off the little plastic connector, not to mention more plastic is blah. This guy effectively solves that, I'm a little aggressive with mine and i cleaned 3 toilets with one pad, I did manage to pop the pad off a few times when doing all three toilets, but I can just grab it right back with the handle no problem.

I do wonder if there's not a non disposable toilet brush out there that's better, . and maybe if tushy comes out with one I'll give it a try... But if you want disposable pads this guy right here's the ticket, premium price but its biodegradable and not garbage right out of the box like other brands are. For this I give it 5 stars across the board except in value for the money, non disposable is always a better value even if it is yuckier.

I even tried buying coconut husk scrub pads and cutting them into shape. But they were too stiff and eventually broke the metal prongs on the wand. But I still like the product enough that I bought it again and will just stick to using the pads that are made for it. So I do recommend, but $1.50 just to clean your toilet...

I wanted to transition away from plastic brushes, and this was a momentary delusion. It "looks" good on paper, and physically as an object, but it has absolutely no performance. The people who use it, do so to wipe immediately after pooping — fresh material. It's not meant, or able, to deal with anything that is caked on (any mineral deposits, etc.).

I recommend coconut husk based brushes, there are a lot of them now, and they are very good.

This is a terrible waste of money, of plastic, or carbon, don't waste your time or your money. This is junk.

This works well. Like the fact that you have a natural material that you can use to clean the toilet and then dispose of afterwards. You do have to be careful as the metal prongs will go through the brush part of it if you press too hard. However, my daughter was able to get a very resistant pink ring out of the commode that had been there for a year and a half, so very effective.

Love the idea and design. I wish it came in more color options- BUT the coconut husk pads do contain sodium lauryl sulfate.

Be an informed consumer. I bought these because I wanted to make my home more nontoxic and eco friendly.. I wanted this so badly. But this one needs an update.

I wanted to love this product. The earth friendly aspect is awesome however, the grippers to hold the scrubber have rusted through and the spring to retract them has lost its spring. For the cost, it’s a terrible waste. The refills of the scrub pads are stupid expensive,I highly recommend purchasing large packs of loofa face scrubbers for a fraction of the price. Overall, I do not recommend this product.

I bought these on a whim after being dissatisfied with my old bowl brush. These are quite a different form factor than I’m used to, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. These did a really great job cleaning the bowl, and probably the best clean I’ve gotten at the drain portion. The material is a lot softer than bristles, which I think lets it actually grip and remove particles a lot better. I didn’t have to scrub nearly as much and got a better result.

The only negative is that the little pads are a bit wasteful. It’s organic waste, so not the worst, but it still means you’re going to be fetching refills regularly.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lasted 1.5 years, then into the landfill.
Reviewed in Canada on March 11, 2024
Material Type: Toilet Brush & Base + 8 Scrubbing PadsVerified Purchase
It looks nice and clean, no disgusting plastic brush on display, no toilet water dripping into the brush holder to stagnate. It does the job of cleaning the bowl well.

Sadly, the steel prongs that hold the scrubber started rusting within a few months. After 1.5 years they crumbled and fell off completely, rendering the handle and its base useless.

I'm not sure of this is an eco friendly option, since the whole thing winds up in the landfill very quickly. It'd be nice if the handle was replaceable. I suppose it's better than a regular plastic brush, which you'd be tossing out more often (every 6 months or so). Very expensive for how long it lasts.
