Colin McCarthy is a weekend sports producer for Boston.com covering the Bruins, Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox and Revolution along with national sports news. He previously worked for MassLive as an intern in their high school sports department, and assisted the Boston Globe with high school sports coverage as a freelancer. Additionally, Colin was an assistant sports editor, video editor and copy editor for the Massachusetts Daily Collegian, the school newspaper at UMass Amherst. His time with the Collegian included coverage of the 2021 NCAA men's frozen four and national championship game. Colin graduated from UMass with a B.A in journalism in 2023.
