Good morning from TD Garden, where the Bruins will kick off the 48-game season tonight against the New York Rangers.

Tuukka Rask will get the start in goal. Dougie Hamilton and Chris Bourque are expected to make their Bruins debuts.

Story lines: Should be interesting to see how Claude Julien plays his matchups. Usually, Zdeno Chara shadows Marian Gaborik. But with Gaborik and Rick Nash skating on different lines, Julien will have to deploy different matchups … Johnny Boychuk turns 29 today … This will be the first game for Nathan Horton and Adam McQuaid since their respective head injuries. Horton hasn’t played since Jan. 22, 2012. McQuaid’s last game was on April 5, 2012.
