Bruins Milan Lucic, Chris Kelly Undergo Successful Surgery

The Bruins announced that two players had undergone successful surgery to start the offseason.

Forward Milan Lucic, who we last saw sporting a brace on his right wrist after being injured in the Bruins’ final game against the Montreal Canadiens, had surgery, as did center Chris Kelly, who needed to repair a herniated disc. Kelly had missed the entirety of the Bruins’ playoff run.

“Both players are expected to be ready for the start of training camp,” Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli said in a statement.
