Crawford examined for elbow soreness

TORONTO – Red Sox outfielder Carl Crawford was examined in Boston on Tuesday.

The outfielder was experiencing some minor elbow soreness according to a team source. He may hold off on throwing for a while.

The good news is that Crawford’s left wrist is recovering well.
