Amendment Notice No. 342
Effective date August 1, 2024
The Budget Bulletin(s) have been amended to include the following:
- REVISED Budget Bulletin D-0290, entitled: “Expenses Relating to Grievance Hearings, Arbitrations, and Taylor Law Prosecutions”
- REVISED Budget Bulletin D-0420, entitled: “Shift Pay Differentials for State Employees”
- REVISED Attachment 2: Salary Setting Guidance of Budget Bulletin D-0250, entitled: “Appointment and Salary Requests Requiring the Budget Director’s Approval”
Bulletin Distribution Update
Effective October 21, 2019, the Division of the Budget merged Budget Policy and Reporting Manual Items with Budget Bulletins. See Memo for changes.

Budget Bulletins are available electronically at the Division of the Budget Website under “State Agency Guide.” If you are unable to access the information listed above, please call (518) 474-2327 to request a hard copy.
The Budget Division notifies agencies of new or revised Budget Bulletins electronically, using a streamlined distribution approach that relies on sending e-mail notices to a single recipient mailbox for each agency. Each such mailbox is designated as “bulletin@[agencydomain]” — for example, [email protected]. Any problems with deliveries should be brought to the attention of DOB by sending a note to [email protected], with the subject line entitled “Budget Bulletin Distribution.”
