'Still sedated' Paddy McGuinness inundated with messages as he shares update from hospital
PADDY MCGUINNESS has shared that he's finally undergone an operation to his leg, six months after tearing his meniscus and pulling out of Soccer Aid 2021.

Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness has revealed that he's recovering from an operation on his knee after suffering an injury last year. The husband of Christine McGuinness, 48, took to Twitter and Instagram to share the health update, admitting that he was "still sedated" and in hospital as he posted his thoughts on the latest season of Netflix favourite, Ozark.
Such a relief to finally get it sorted
In view of his 563,200 followers, the Question of Sport host revealed that he'd finally undergone the op and was resting while taking the opportunity to catch up on the hit series.
Paddy wrote: "Been in hospital for a knee op.
"Thought I’d use the time to catch up on Ozark.
"No spoilers here but wtf was that ending?" he added quizzically.

The star continued to ramble on, before admitting that he was "still sedated".
Paddy penned: "Really enjoyed this last season but clearly it’s not the last season or is it?
"Also what was that car crash in ep 1?
"PS I’m still slightly sedated. #Ozark," he ended his post.
Paddy also shared a before and after snap of his knee to Instagram
He told his two million followers: "Before and after. Finally got my knee op done!
"Been managing with it for 6 months, such a relief to finally get it sorted.
"Few days rest now, then we get this puppy moving!!!

"I had a torn lateral meniscus, along with a blue surgical sock. Both were removed successfully," he ended his post.
Following his update, Paddy's celebrity friends rushed to wish the star well, with Strictly Come Dancing's Ugo Monye writing: "Rest up big man x"
While Paddy's wife Christine penned: "Nurse McGuinness at your service," followed by a red heart.
Last September, Paddy took to Instagram to confirm that he would be absent from Soccer Aid 2021, after suffering an injury to his knee.
The star tore his lateral meniscus and broke the news to devastated fans only hours before the big game.
Paddy told his two million followers: "Gutted! For the first time ever I'm having to pull out of @socceraid due to injury.
"Tore my lateral meniscus and it's not something that can be sorted with the magic sponge.
"Good luck to both teams today and if you've got tickets you're in for a great day for a great cause," he ended the post.
