However, during filming for their BBC show Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job, the comedian, 47, took a swipe at the fashionista. He cheekily branded her dress sense “last season”.
Dazzling viewers with his flamboyant style which brought a Sicilian vibe, he called Amanda out. Alan bowled into the room that they were renovating dressed for the occasion.
Smiling with glee as he stood with his hard hat, Alan donned a Dolce & Gabbana overall. It featured a bright yellow print with lemons on it.
In the hilarious clip, he stood opposite Amanda and said: “What, what? It’s D&G”, while struggling to hold back his laughter. She went on to mischievously shout: “I hate you”.
Meanwhile, Amanda was standing in a plain builders-style jumpsuit, looking very casual.
Amanda exclaimed while reacting to her co-star's look: “This is amazing!"
The Channel 4 star was quick to stick in a jibe and further quipped of Amanda's look: “I am not being a cow but that is very last season!"

Raging that she was not the one standing out on camera, she sighed: “Damn it”.
It sees the two best friends renovate a dilapidated 17th-century house in the heart of northern Tuscany.
They bought the home for a bargain price of just one Euro.
Amanda and Alan share a passion for travel and interior design, so they will be once again throwing themselves into the project.
Once completed, they will go on to sell it with all the profits donated to charity.
In a statement, Amanda spoke about filming this series in Tuscany, marking a change to series one, which was filmed in Sicily.
She said: "Tuscany is completely different. I mean, the Sicilian location last year felt sort of, in a lot of ways, a lot more glamorous than this."
