Roman Kemp took to his Instagram story on Wednesday to issue a clarification after sharing a snap which left his 1.4 million followers confused.

Months after leaving the hosting chair on Capital FM, the 31-year-old has been enjoying time to himself and continues to update his fans on social media platform while away from The One Show.

On Tuesday, Roman recommended a Thai restaurant to his fans with a snap of the venue's sign.

However, the presenter received comments about his story overnight and, on Wednesday morning, scolded his folders about their response.

The star shared his disappointment in another slide, penning in white letters on a black background: "You're all sick in the head!

"I was just showing appreciation for the great restaurant, Lum Lum."

Roman recently opened up about another, more serious issue weighing on his mind after his father, Martin Kemp, revealed he was convinced he has a decade left to live.

The 62-year-old, who shot to fame as the bassist for the band Spandau Ballet, was diagnosed with two brain tumours in the 1990s and underwent radiotherapy and surgery to have them both removed.

During an emotional interview as part of BBC Children in Need's Heaviest Backpack campaign, aired on The One Show on Monday, May 13, Roman looked at photos taken during his father's recovery and admitted they had left him thoughtful... and scared.

"These pictures are always quite precious to me because my dad is in full recovery here for the two brain tumours he had. I always look at these pictures and think about how scary it is that they might never have existed.

"I look at this and I kind of think this was a great time because this was the last time I didn't have any worries in my life."

The pair launched Roman's newest project together in early May and have since been hosting the podcast FFS! My Dad Is Martin Kemp.

Speaking about their venture, Roman said: "I did the podcast because people are always telling me that my dad being the celebrity that he is and the 'legend' that they say he is, I should always take as much advice off him as possible, so I always wanted to make sure that I knew everything about different subjects and advice that he would give me after he's dead."

"Because let's be honest, we all die, and at some point, he thinks within the next 14 years, he's gonna die. So why not write it all down? And also, given the title, I wanted to be able to say that it's quite annoying having to get all this knowledge just because of who he is. So, it quite literally is 'FFS'!"
