Camila Cabello, who is performing at Glastonbury this weekend, has candidly discussed her personal life, revealing she was on the hunt for a "spicy night" at Coachella, while delving into her experiences with dating apps. It comes after the pop sensation admitted to losing her virginity to This Morning star and dating expert Matthew Hussey when she was 20.
The songstress, now 27 and known for her hit 'Havana', confessed that she had no intimate encounters prior to her relationship with Matthew, who is renowned for dishing out love life advice on the ITV show. Their romance lasted a year before they parted ways in 2019.
Post-breakup, Camila found love with fellow artist Shawn Mendes, but their relationship came to an end in 2021. She was later linked to tech entrepreneur Austin Kevitch, although they reportedly split in February 2023.
Now embracing the single life, Camila has turned to dating apps as a form of "practice" in the art of meeting men, despite not being overly impressed by the digital courtship experience.
During her appearance on 'Therapuss with Jake Shane', Camila shared: "I've been working since I was, like, 15 so it's just been a lot of time of working and I feel like I need just the practice of texting guys and I don't know, maybe we go for a walk or something or, you know."
"I've only really done the dating app dates like two or three times. Maybe one time it has been fun and worth it."
The former Fifth Harmony member has admitted to not being thrilled about digital dating.
She confessed: "But yeah, I feel like there's something not sexy about the dynamic, like it being a secret or whatever there's that stuff and I feel like there's something so unsexy about dating apps being like, 'I think you're attractive, you think I'm attractive, let us date and see if we are a match and if we do get married and procreate'."
Preferring a more traditional approach, she revealed her aspirations to encounter a romantic partner at a social gathering. She even made an unsuccessful attempt to find love at the renowned Coachella music festival.

Adding to her point, the singer went on, "At least if you're at a party you're like, 'oh my God does he like me? Oh my God, like, are we friends?' Those are the hottest hook-ups."
In agreement, podcast host Jake disclosed his own flirting frenzy on a night out.
He added: "We were flirting the whole night. I've never experienced that before in my life and I was like 'oh this is a vibe'."
Camila agreed with Jake, expressing, "I want that more than I want a boyfriend right now. I feel like I've been single for way too long, like, I'm trying but it's hard, I'm p****d about it too."
"I'm not even p****d about not having a boyfriend, I'm p****d about, like, where are those spicy nights? Because I was looking for them at Coachella."
Adding a lighter note, Jake jested that Coachella was "not the place" to find a man.
Meanwhile, fans eagerly await Camila's performance on Glastonbury Festival's Other Stage tonight at 6.45pm, with her set airing on BBC Two.
