Piers Morgan has sent a savage message to his fans whilst enjoying a trip in Italy. The journalist and TV presenter uploaded a snap of himself relaxing in a huge pool, overlooking the small harbour of Portofino.

Typing to his 8.8 million followers on X, he simply put as his caption: "Morning, haters!" completed with a kissing emoji and a flag of Italy.

Many of his fans replied to the holiday snap in the comment section, with some reacting to the "haters" caption. One person said: "Why did you use word "haters", normally small men do use this word. Not of your caliber."

A second fan also chimed in: "Whats to hate! Have a good holiday." A third follower also wrote: "Woke people always think they have haters."

A fourth said: "I don’t hate you Piers. Very happy for you that you can have a holiday with your boys."

The TV presenter has been regularly sharing updates from his summer holiday in Lake Como with his three sons. Recently, one of his boys impersonated Donald Trump in a hilarious dig.

In one video uploaded to Instagram, Piers and his family are on a small boat on Lake Como and is filming his son, Stanley, who is preparing himself to dive into the water.

Walking up to the edge, he then puts on Donald Trump's recognisable voice and says: "I'm going to do a dive. I looked at it and said 'That water needs a dive.' Here he comes - perfect ten."

Stanley then dives perfectly into the water, with Piers laughing in the background. Stanley then said in Donald's voice: "What a dive! One of the best dives. I don't say that, but a lot of people are saying that's one of the best dives."

As Piers shared the video to Instagram, he praised his son and tagged Trump in the post as he cheekily declared: "Great dive, Donald!"

Many of Piers' fans flocked to the comments section to react to the funny footage. One person replied: "more trump than trump himself haha."
