Liam and Noel Gallagher's furious feud began in 2009 and both had repeatedly rejected any suggestion of a reunion ever since.

However, a music industry insider has now claimed that there are just days to go before the pair announce their comeback tour. Their debut studio album might have been called 'Definitely Maybe', but it looks like a reunion is 'Definitely Definitely' going ahead - and the Coral betting agency has suspended betting on the chance of a reunion.

"If the rumours are true, the Gallagher brothers have put their differences aside and are set for a reunion in 2025," Coral rep John Hill told us. "We have pulled the plug on our betting on Oasis getting back together next year."

Meanwhile, a source published in The Sun echoed the optimism, exclaiming: "This is the reunion that no one thought would ever happen. Liam and Noel have been staunch enemies for well over a decade but they have secretly been back in touch."

They added: "A deal was put on the table and they both said yes - much to the surprise of the people around them. There will be concerts in the UK next summer and both Noel and Liam are excited to get back out there together.”

Heaton Park in the brothers' native Manchester, and London’s Wembley Arena, which was recently headlined multiple times by Taylor Swift, have both been suggested as potential venues for their comeback.

There are also suggestions that Oasis could play Glastonbury - and Liam got the rumour mill spinning today on social media when he replied to fans' speculation about the comeback shows.

One follower slammed Heaton Park, claiming it is "terrible for concert venues”, to which Liam simply replied: “See you down the front you big f***y.”

Meanwhile, Noel reportedly shared an unexpected testament to his brother's singing abilities in a new interview this week, claiming he was a better singer than him.

The rare declaration comes as Liam gets geared up for a headlining set at Reading Festival this evening.

He will be playing the debut Oasis album 'Definitely Maybe' in its entirety to celebrate its 30th anniversary, but excitement about that has now been overshadowed by the possibility of a full-on reunion.

The big split took place moments before Liam and Noel were due to take to the stage at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris.

The show was axed and Noel stormed in a statement: "I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

However, despite all the barbed insults appearing in the media in the years that followed, it looks like it could finally be time for the pair to put their differences behind them and share a stage again, to the delight of fans.
