Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan sent his fans into a frenzy as he shared a huge family announcement.
Former ITV Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan sent his fans wild as he shared some emotional family news on Instagram.
Posing with newborn baby Matilda, Piers announced he was a great-uncle as he shared a lovely picture with his goddaughter and niece Gabby in St Tropez.
He posted: "Welcome to the family, Matilda, you adorable little girl! My first meeting with my goddaughter Gabby’s first child, and my parents’ first great-grandchild, on her first holiday.
"She may look a tad underwhelmed by my presence at the moment, but I’ll put it down to the jet-lag."
Fans quickly rushed to the social media post to ask the same thing after reading Piers' caption, as they also shared their congratulations.
One asked: "Granddaughter? She’s gorgeous," as another added: "God Daughter or Granddaughter?!" as someone replied: "It’s his goddaughter’s baby. I’m not sure but she must be related too if it’s parents great grandchild. Confusing."
Another added: "As far as I’m aware Piers isn’t a grandfather yet. Gabby must be his niece not granddaughter."
One social media user chimed in: "Awwwww CONGRATULATIONS She Is Adorable," as another agreed: "Awwww what a cute baby."

Meanwhile, Piers also announced he will be back on Talk TV's YouTube channel in a week with some new content, as one fan asked after his whereabouts.
They said: "Piers, where's your new shows? You need to come back to work bc nothing interesting on YT except for the @PiersUncensored."
He responded: "Back a week tomorrow, Kamran, and we have some great stuff lined up."
