Back in 1980, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton starred in the movie classic 9 to 5, which included the latter’s hit song.

The original film followed the trio taking revenge on their sexist boss, portrayed by Dabney Coleman, who died two weeks ago.

Rumours have abounded of a sequel, but now Friends star Jennifer Aniston is producing a reimagining of 9 to 5 at 20th Century Studios.

Juno and Jennifer’s Body scribe Diablo Cody is working on the script with details currently on the down-low.

Since the announcement, both Grace and Frankie co-stars Fonda, 86 and Tomlin, 84, have spoken out on the reboot.

The award-winning documentary examines the lasting impact of the original movie and the fight for women’s rights.
